Course and exam information:

• The price of the 7 day course is 2790 € (including 45 € VAT for the theoretical exam).
• Payment in instalments is possible. The entire amount must be paid before the end of the course.
• Number of training days: 5 days + 2 days for exams (theory and practice).
• Training days: Saturday.
• We can organize training during the week if there is a group that is ready to study on working days of the week.
• Examination days: Tuesday and Friday.
• Training and examination takes place during the following hours: 10.00 – 16.00.
• Our trainings are not subject to VAT.

• Solar Photovoltaic installer  (under the roof)
 / Monteur zonnestroominstallaties (onder het dak)

• If you take this course and pass the official exams, you will be able to manage any projects in the area of solar industry.

• The training will take place in English language. During the training we will teach you technical terminology in Dutch and English.

• The theoretical knowledge in our course is closely linked to practical exercises.

• The acquired knowledge and official certificate will give you the opportunity to get a job in Dutch and international companies, as well as to lead projects of any complexity on your own.

• It is also suitable for experienced installers and electricians who want to become familiar with Dutch standards and regulations.

Entry requirements:

• You need to have a diploma in electrical engineering to take the course. It must be translated into English or Dutch (Google translation is enough). The minimum level is an MBO 4 diploma.

• If you do not have a diploma, you should  have three years’ experience as an electrician in the Netherlands.

• You should also have the certificate  “Electricity course VOP NEN 3140 / NEN 1010”, which you can get at our school.

Responsibilities of solar photovoltaic installation supervisor:

• Manage the work independently and have ultimate responsibility for all work to ensure the proper functioning of the solar power system in accordance with specifications.

During the course you will learn how to:

• Analyze facilities before implementing projects
• Develop projects
• Conduct preparatory work
• Supervise all work and/or be able to perform work independently
• Install solar panels on the roof
• Connect solar panels to the electrical panel and put them into operation
• Install and connect inverters
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment, inspect and maintain solar installations
• Ensure site safety
• Prepare progress reports
• Conduct quality inspections and hand over to customers

Information about exams:

• Number of training days: 5 days + 2 days for exams

• Training days: Saturday

• We can organize training during the week, if there is a group that is ready to study on working days of the week.

• Training time: 10.00 – 16.00

• At the end of the 5-day course participants will take an official theoretical exam. The exam will be conducted on a computer provided by the examiners.

• After successfully passing the theoretical exam participants will take a practical exam in the walls of our official examination center.

• The exams will be held in English.

• Number of exam days: 2 days

Day 1 – theoretical examination:

• The duration of the theoretical exam is 150 minutes (2.5 hours).

• There are 55 questions in the theoretical examination. The passing score is 75%.

• If you do not pass the exam the first time, you can retake it on the same day.

• The price of the additional theoretical examination is 215 € (excl. VAT).

• If you successfully pass the theoretical and practical exams, our school will issue you an official certificate and you will be registered in the Central technical register.

• Upon successful completion of the course, the student may be appointed by an employer as a qualified specialist, called in the Netherlands (VP – Vakbekwaam Persoon) according the Dutch standard  NEN 3140.

• You will receive a NEN 3140 VP certificate in the specialization: solar panel installation.

• Here is a sample of a certificate. We can issue it in English language as well.
